One of the premier events to which the food safety community looks forward is the annual meeting of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP).  This includes the faculty and students from the University of Maryland’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ Center for Food Safety and Security Systems (CFS3), who presented their research findings, participated in round tables and seminars, gave keynote addresses, and provided information on our JIFSAN training programs by sponsoring a exhibitor’s booth CFS3 members participating included faculty members of the University of Maryland departments of Nutrition and Food Science, Plant Science and Landscape Architecture, and Animal and Avian Sciences, their students, and the scientists and staff of the Joint Institute of Food Safety and Nutrition (JIFSAN). This year the annual meeting was held in Indianapolis, Indiana and CFS3 / JIFSAN faculty and students had a large presence at the meeting.
